Like diamonds in the rough, the deep gold colored eyes are a spectacular trait of the cougar. These solitary cats will often stock their prey for hours through brush and trees until their most opportune moment. A swift and powerful attack follows as the cougar leaps and skillfully bites down onto the neck. It's a cruel but necessary means through which they live. The cougar never ceases to amaze.
